Each year in July, the BSC hosts Meet the Media, a lunch with media representatives from various publications, radio and TV. It's a great way to make contacts and learn how to get media attention for the long term.

Why talk to the media at Meet the Media?
1. To know how to make the best use of media relations and public relations to promote your business and its products and services.
2. To verify what are the current ethical issues for Austin media and what does each media require now from their sources in terms of validating the information you give them.
3. To get specifics about do's and don'ts plus contact information.
4. To have questions answered or to comment on Austin news.
5. To see how far you can take your local story (national? international?) by forming good media relationships.

We will insure everyone has time to introduce themselves and ask questions. There is no head table, so you can also sit and talk with them at lunch.
