Incubator Details
Owners who are selected for the Virtual Incubator program receive their own "Growth and Management Manual". This will become their operations manual for their business.
While working with BSC it will function as an organizer for their own long term and short term planning calendars, contact referral sheets and examples of forms, contracts etc. provided by BSC, a record business decisions, and ownership skill development materials from the Business Development sessions.
Then they set a time to meet with a BSC Certified Coach to evaluate the status of the business. During this meeting they will complete an initial assessment, set priorities, identify action plans, and relevant contacts. A special assessment of financials, including cash flow, cost analysis, bookkeeping and taxes is also completed within 30 days.
This assessment helps the owner and the BSC know what needs to be addressed in terms of all six areas of business: financials, marketing, records and books, managment, operations, and future plans.
Incubator members take the eighteen-hour Owners MBA at their earliest opportunity. There is no charge for this Success Academy program which allows owners to create or review their strategic plan and improve their ownership knowledge base.
Then each month, owners:
a. Meet individually with their coach to review long term goals and solve short terms problems, review marketing and financials, and receive useful contacts. Although set as regular meetings, these can be rescheduled as necessary.
b. Attend a Business Development session with non-competing owners at the same stage of experience and growth. This session develops the owner's skills and gives the owner a chance to discuss issues with peers. Makeup sessions are provided.
