In 1998, the BSC received the prestigious Vision 2000, Model of Excellence Award for MicroEnterprise Development presented by the SBA in Washington, DC. Diener and Triplett's innovative programs and a commitment to quality won them an award from the Austin Quality Council for the BSC, formerly known as the Entrepreneurs' Association, in 1995.
And, their program development expertise helped them compete for and win a contract from the City of Austin to provide business consulting, training and support services to multimedia companies in 1998.
In 2006 and 2001, the BSC was recognized as one of Austin's dynamic companies in the Austin Business Journal's " Book of Lists". Also in 2006, Mr. Diener was chosen by the Small Business Administration as the Austin-San Antonio District and 5-State Region's Financial Services Champion for his work to secure funding for small businesses. Together with Dr. Triplett, he has secured more than $2 million in funding and grants.
The Business Success Center has been approved by the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) to provide technical assistance for the SBA Community Express program. Contact: Daniel Diener
