Jan Triplett, Ph.D.is the Chief Operating Officer of the Business Success Center, Texas largest private small business improvement center.

Her systematic networking approach is the cornerstone of the BSC's facilitated networking program and of the guided accelerator business growth program for new businesses and those in transition, called the Success Hatchery.

She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in Communication and studied at the Graduate Institute, St. Anne's College, Oxford.

She has been a networking, marketing and public relations researcher, analyst, consultant and implementer since 1973 for both the public and private sectors. She is the co-developer and co-instructor for several award-winning entrepreneurial and "intrapreneurial" programs.

She speaks and reads Spanish and French and some limited Japanese. In 1996, she and partner Daniel Diener presented a venture capital and entrepreneurship program at the request of the Nikkei Corporation in Japan. She was asked to provide a program on entrepreneurship for the Center for Citizen Initiatives for a Russian Radio and TV owners delegation in 2000.

Dr. Triplett has frequently testified before the Texas legislature on small business issues. She frequently quoted in publications ranging from Entrepreneur and Income Opportunities, to Female Executive, Home Office Computing, and other national publications, radio and TV.
